Who are Bell Lax?

We've been assisting Bell Lax with various types of marketing projects such as design, advertisements, exhibitions and events. Bell Lax are solicitors based in Sutton Coldfield who specialise in commercial litigation and dispute resolution.

The Challenge

We were tasked with organising an exclusive networking event for Bell Lax clients and their prospects. The objective was to create a business environment for the Bell Lax to engage with existing clients and new business prospects and increase their brand awareness.

Our Approach

It was our aim to ensure that the networking event was a great experience for all. We achieved this by creating a Summertime Cocktail themed event at Hotel du Vin, Birmingham. We wanted to connect like-minded business people together with the perfect backdrop of an established city centre venue. We understand it’s important to provide the right atmosphere for guests to meet other business professionals and build relevant connections.

We believe first impressions are vital, especially when it comes to networking events. This is why we take time when picking the guest list, crafting the theme, selecting the venue, planning the creative and choosing the hospitality.

We designed a creative and informative email invitation to suit the theme and sent out personalised emails to ensure a meaningful level of engagement with all our guests.

On arrival guests were welcomed with complimentary cocktails and Hotel du Vin were at hand with mixologists to shake the evening up. This was entertaining and had the guests engaging with each other - a great ice breaker!

The Result

The event was a huge success and saw in excess of 100 delegates in attendance - a fabulous evening tasting cocktails, making new connections and having fun. We held a business card draw competition to close the evening awarding the lucky winner 'Sybilla Rose' with a fabulous four-course meal for two at Hotel du Vin.

After any event we host, we like to send out a personalised follow-up email, saying a big thank you for attending. At this point we also take the opportunity to ask for feedback, ensuring that our events maintain a high standard. Please see some of our testimonials below.

I enjoyed it thank you. Hotel Du Vin is a great venue and with the roof open it is nicely ventilated. The people in the room are great and I look forward to coming to many more in future.
