Introduction

Honeymoon Dreams are a travel agent that sell tailor-made holidays. We created a fully redesigned website for them, which won the Website of the Year award for small agencies.

The Challenge

Honeymoon Dreams is a travel agent site that sells tailor-made holidays. In 2016 their plan was to create national awareness but their previous site was dated, unresponsive and didn’t have the functionality they needed to cater for a bigger audience.

We were tasked with creating a website that not only looked great but performed well.

Our Approach

The user journey was thoroughly planned out, with the wants and needs of the customer in mind. This included adding a wish list and VIP area to enhance its exclusive feel.

Once the website was built and we were confident that it was able to meet Honeymoon Dreams’ online demand, they appeared on Saturday Night Takeaway to give away a honeymoon as one of the prizes.

The Result

Since the launch, Honeymoon Dreams have received a huge increase of traffic to the website. Around 80% of this increase are new users, which shows a strong brand awareness with a website that is strong enough to match.

In the month after launch there was a 29% increase in mobile traffic and a 575% increase in referrals from Facebook. This illustrates that the user journey and usability of the new site are now tailored perfectly to all types of traffic.
